Transforming a crowded, outdated kitchen into a thing of beauty is always a joy and this transformation is outstanding. Removing several walls and incorporating seldom used space opened this kitchen up – giving it a bright, welcoming feeling.

Completing the island and the counters is an extraordinary granite that sets the tone for the entire room. The new French doors at the side entrance now give direct access to the newly created kitchen and provide a warm welcome to visitors.

The cabinets in a rich cherry are highlighted by the large island in a painted white finish. Beautiful tile work; an outstanding range hood; gleaming stainless steel appliances; and under it all – hardwood floors.

The laundry room was transformed from a utilitarian concrete block afterthought into a bright and cheery place that coordinates beautifully with the kitchen.
