Often a remodeling project involves turning an area that is already very nice into one that is absolutely wonderful. Such was the case with this outdoor living project.

At first glance, the ‘before’ area looks great. However, nothing was on the same level and the usable area was quite small. Out the door, down the steps, cross a small terrace then up the steps to a small sitting area. Or, down two sets of steps to the pool. Whew!!

Now, the rear doors open directly on to the upper terrace which wraps around the back of the house culminating in a dramatic outdoor kitchen. There is an abundance of space providing plenty of room for a casual seating area as well room under the pergola for a long dining table with seating.

Beyond the terraces is the pool with its new pool house featuring a dressing room, shower bath, and tons of storage for all that pool stuff!
