Before Renovation

Can remodeling become an addiction? Well, with results like these the likelihood is great. We’ve remodeled the kitchen and dining area, added a screen porch, installed a bar, remodeled the master bath, and put on a closet addition for these clients. And we’re not done yet- there are plans in the works to add a 3rd story onto the home.

Starting with the kitchen, the electric cook top was replaced with a gourmet gas range and oven, which matches the stainless convection oven/microwave combo and Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Basic white cabinetry was replaced with the warm wood tone shown here. The center island makes a bold statement with its black stain and leg detail- not to mention its 11 foot span! Replacing the vertical beam at the end of the old kitchen bar with a hidden horizontal one supports the upper stories and opens the space to the adjoining dining and lounge areas. Opening the patio doors off the kitchen and adjoining living area creates a huge 3 room open space for entertaining.

There’s even a convenient wet bar area!

Upstairs, we relocated several doors to maximize space in the master suite. New tile flooring and the granite counters and tub surround add sophistication, as does the pretty chandelier that hangs over the Jacuzzi tub.

Turn the corner and you find every clothes lover’s dream- the closet addition. An abundance of built-in shelving allows a place for everything. Even the built in bench serves a multi purpose as a shoe rack.

We liked these remodeling projects (and our clients) so much; we threw a party for them in their own house! You don’t have to take our word for how inviting this home is, look how happy the guests are while enjoying a cooking demonstration at the party.
