Preparation for Walls & Roof

The floor framing has been completed and you can start to see how big the family room will be! We also reconfigured some windows on the existing second story to allow for the new roofline. The photo below shows a different perspective of the floor framing. Visualize this space with the covered patio outside of the sliding glass doors in the dining area like what we showed you in last week’s rendering.photo 3 (8)

We've Excavated for the Family Room Addition

Our family room addition project is in full swing! What remained of the screened in porch in our last video is long gone. All prep work has been done and now the foundation is being laid so framing can begin shortly. The rendering below was created during the design process to help the clients, and now you, visualize how the final product will look. Be sure to check back next week to see the progress!CLARKE FINAL WITH CO 2 EXTERIOR 1

Family Room Addition with Alex

The homeowners of this project came to us because they had outgrown their living space. They love the charm of their house built in the early 1900s and didn't want to leave their neighborhood. Over the next couple months, Design Consultant Alex Van Nuys will take you through the remodeling process as we watch this backyard transformation!  Stay tuned for next week's post where we return to the job site for even more changes!Below are the before pictures of this family room addition. The current screened in porch was getting minimal use due to the hot summers and long pollen seasons. The patio was showing some obvious wear and was not large enough for outdoor entertaining. Clarke, John Before017_Fotor_Collage
